About Me
Sherien Joyner
Designations: Realtor®, GRI, Certified New Construction Specialist
Thank you for taking the time to get to know me a little more.
I believe it is important that you get to know not only my skills as a real estate agent, but also my personality, so you can make sure I am a good fit for you during this important real estate journey and hopefully beyond.
As one client explained it: “It goes beyond industry knowledge, it’s the intangible skills that build a long-lasting business relationship.”
By now you know I am a Realtor® in North DFW. I am someone who loves to learn, so I am constantly finding new areas of real estate to hone my skills in. The best negotiation tactics. The ins and outs of investing in real estate.
The building blocks of residential new home construction.
So much goes into forming an experienced real estate agent beyond basic licensing.
After graduating with my bachelor’s degree from Texas Tech University, I charted 17 years in advertising, marketing and customer relationship management, helping my clients arrive at the best solutions for the challenge at hand, whether it be worldwide brands or local ones, strengthening their appeal to their customer base as well as gaining new ones, and working with small and large teams to accomplish the goals at hand.
So when I decided to move into real estate and start my own business, it was those same problem-solving skills, people knowledge, and market insight strategies that help me still today in understanding my clients’ needs to better consult them along their home buying or selling journey, and working with the best partners in the business to accomplish that goal.
Your next Dreamhome could be in North DFW, Texas! Take a look at the homes for sale. If I can help, please let me know.
My family is originally from Egypt. Growing up, we moved around a few times, and I continued that trend into my early adulthood, so I’m no stranger to the struggles of moving and relocation, learning about a new place, settling into a new community or even a new country.
This allowed me to come into contact with a wide variety of people and cultures besides my own, which has added to my ability to comfortably navigate and enjoy the diverse community we live in today. It also allowed me to learn a variety of languages – English, Arabic, German and some French – and they’ve come in handy a few times in assisting my clients. I hope to learn more!
After college, I settled into the DFW metroplex and Carrollton, Texas to be exact. While my extended family is spread out all over the world and other states in the US, my immediate family unit consists of my parents who also reside in Carrollton, my husband Charles Joyner who is a military veteran, software ideator and semi-’nerd’, my son, and our dog Dixie.
We love to spend time together and explore, so in our free time you’ll find us around town exploring new hot spots or parks, or volunteering together in our community.
Anything we can do together! And because actual free time is often sparse (plus we actually are a bit of workaholics), my husband and I will often find common areas in our businesses to work on together.
Even my son is now getting to be old enough to want to join in on the fun.
Our long professional careers and life experience have taught us to favor a life where we love what we do, because we spend a lot of time doing it, and savor moments of family time and togetherness with friends.
Whether we are selling your home to right-size into another one or move somewhere else, buying your first home, or building your investment portfolio, we start with a strategy that fits your needs and situation at hand.
You’ll find me methodical, never just winging it with your business, no matter how easy or tough a real estate market we find ourselves in. Selecting the right advisor, the right partner in real estate is crucial in ensuring you take this important step with maximum success and minimal stress.
I have been fortunate to be that partner for so many clients over the years, and I hope in getting to know me you will find me the right one for you.
